Burning Sled

Premiered in October 2010 by Tanya Stambuk with the Yakima Symphony Chamber Orchestra conducted by Lawrence Golan, this 22 minute concerto was first completed in 2001 on commission from pianist Joshua Pierce. As no orchestra was attached to the commission, it remained unpremiered for nine years before Hagen revised it.
